Escaping into My Books
I never know to say in these things. I guess that says something about me. I read a lot, write stories, and like books. I like a good debate. Nothing else is to say. :-)
The Ugly Duckling Debutante
This started off very promising. I liked the male character and his background, and the buildup to the story. But about halfway through reading, it became a bit too..soap opera dramatic for me. I kind of lost the feel of the character and did not really buy their romance. At least, to me, it was a lot of tell of their love, but not enough showing. Parts of it was really good, but other parts just fell flat, and I lost interest towards the end. So..great start, but not so great execution or finish.
