Escaping into My Books
I never know to say in these things. I guess that says something about me. I read a lot, write stories, and like books. I like a good debate. Nothing else is to say. :-)
Eh....not world shattering
I thought this was okay. Good read, but not anything that got me hooked or overly excited. I thought the characters were a bit flat. Too much telling and not showing. Like the Prince....he just never seemed real to me. Like a cardboard cut out and could be replaced with any other male character in the book. Like Aspen...there was nothing much distinguishing them. I liked the world created and there is obviously more to it to be introduced, and that interests me...but not sure if it is enough to continue on.
Meet it short and simple. Will save my squee for a later post and book.
